Hello, my name is Day’Lann, and my project is called “Joke of the Day.” This project is made to entertain Big Fox News and brighten people’s days with a good old-fashioned joke.
My project fits the CART because of our strong teamwork. Throughout the journey of making our videos, we solved many problems together. At the beginning, using the equipment was difficult, but as time went on, our student growth was amazing. We learned how to use everything properly and became more confident.
Our problem-solving skills were top tier, even in challenging situations. For example, when our microphone was not working, we figured out that all we had to do was unplug it and plug it back in to fix the sound. This shows how well we work through problems instead of giving up.
The microphone was especially important because in a previous video, the principal said she could not hear the speaker or my video. Because of that feedback, we redid the video and made sure the audio was clear so our viewers—students and teachers—could hear us better.
The equipment we used included headphones, microphones, monitors, PCs, cameras, iPads, and keyboards.We used Canva to edit the videos. Using the equipment became easier because of my crew. We worked together, shared ideas, and helped each other, which made everything run smoothly.
We had a lot of fun making these videos for students and teachers. I want to thank my crew for being so helpful and supportive. This project is fun, and I truly enjoyed doing it.
