Project Coordinator (Full Time)

Job Description

The Project Coordinator organizes and coordinates specialized projects for EAST Initiative. Strong communication with both internal staff and external clients is crucial in project execution. Budgeting, tracking and documenting the progress of projects, gathering feedback, and reporting are just as vital. Other duties include occasional onsite visits to EAST programs and clients and occasionally representing EAST through presentations and in conferences. It is expected that this new position will evolve over time to fit the unique traits of EAST, existing project clients and future endeavors.

This position is based out of our West Little Rock offices with typical hours of 8-5 M-F. Occasional travel will be required and may include overnight stays. The applicant must have strong organizational and communication/collaboration skills. A high level of confidence is needed when working with external clients in establishing and maintaining project relationships. This position is vital in developing strong connections to keep us relevant, efficient and effective. Brainstorming, problem-solving and planning skills along with a strong work ethic are a must. Highly successful project related experiences in education or non-profit environments are a plus.

EAST is an educational nonprofit seeking a social media intern to assist through August 2019 with our social media efforts and to help pilot a new social media program for teachers. Ideal candidates will have experience using a variety of social media platforms (especially Facebook's Pages platform), be an engaging blogger, and have experience/course work in marketing, education, and communications.
