Kayleigh, Kynzlee, and Husani saw a problem at their school. When parents, new students, substitutes, and visitors came to events, many of them didn’t know where to go. This caused confusion and made things harder for everyone. To fix this, the students made a clear and simple map of the school. The map shows important places like the office, cafeteria, gym, classrooms, and event areas. They also started making a video tour of the school. The video shows what the inside of the school looks like and has a voice explaining each part. People will be able to watch the video by scanning a QR code on their phone or iPad. The students used a program called Premiere Pro to put the video together. A community helper showed them how to get started with the filming and voice recording.The map has already helped a lot during school events, and the students are almost done with the video. They hope it will make it even easier for visitors to find their way around.
