We are thrilled to introduce you to our project, the Yellowjacket Community Garden. Myself, Hila, and my partner, Peyton took over this project at the beginning of this year.

Our founder, Whit Smith, started this project about two years ago, considering he always had a love for gardening, and wanted to do something more with his passion.

Gardening is more than just planting seeds; it’s about cultivating a sense of community, fostering sustainability, and creating a green oasis in our urban landscape. Through this project, we aim to provide fresh, healthy food to our community, promote environmental stewardship, and inspire others to embrace the power of gardening. Join us as we transform our space and grow together! The YellowJacket Community Garden is a way to help families get healthy food, and a place where they can grow whatever they want. We know many people don’t have enough space for a garden, or maybe they don’t have the resources to grow one.

Our main goal is to provide a way for families to get and grow fresh fruits and vegetables. Here, they don’t have to worry about any chemicals or other things on their fruits and vegetables. They can grow whatever they want, and teach their kids how to garden. We are ecstatic to continue our partnership with the community to take this to completion.
