Our music teacher came to us with the problem of our special education students often not being able to participate in using musical instruments without a fear for student safety or the possibility of property damage. Our project group used TinkerCAD to design a 3D xylophone, and then we built it one out of PVC pipes, small wooden planks, cardboard, and other basic materials. We had never used power tools before, so we partnered with Dream Big Remodeling to help us with this portion of the project. These xylophones will allow all students to participate in music classes and productions without fear of injury or property damage.
