The project was created to advertise and promote the Hispanic Heritage festival. The festival has been happening for the last few years, yet many citizens of the town aren't aware of this cultural festival. Our project brings awareness to the annual cultural Heritage Festival.
In order to create the advertising poster we used the computer and Canva. We created a poster that reflected all the events of the night and showcased what the festival was truly about. We made flyers to help promote the events. We created the advertising video using an apple computer and a app called iMovie. We included background music, footage, and pictures from previous years to create the video.
The project showed us all how to communicate with the community about upcoming events. The project allowed us to work with the Chamber of Commence and have direct contact with people of the community. This project was unique to us because it helped us explore different cultures. Our main community partner was Ivan Pena who works for the Chamber of Commerce and wants to promote the beauty of Dardanelle. We created the flyer and video for him. The project took us about three weeks to complete.
