These students did a great job on a new sign for the Wings of Honor Museum. The sign took a lot of planning and effort. The boys had to make the design to be cut out on CNC software first. Second, they had to make a whole new hanger including pouring cement to hold the post. Overall, they learned to design on CNC software, sand metal, welding, powder coating and how to mix and set cement.

The original sign was stolen.

This was also a special project as the sign was crafted as a request from Mr. Harold Johnson. Harold started the Museum as a nonprofit organization and continues to work daily despite his age. Harold is a hero because years ago he saved many lives when the plane he was on was hijacked. KAIT did a story on him in 2022.
