Our Hall of Fame project was brought together by two of our EAST students, Terrianna Fraizer and Autumn Flenory. Our school previously has a Hall of Fame but was later discontinued around 1994-95. Meetings have been had with our Athletic Director, Phillip Turner and a very involved school board member, Mr. Courtney. We were informed that our Superintendent planned on bringing back the Hall of Fame at our school. Mr. Courtney informed us that our Superintendent plans on putting together a team to work on refurbishing it. The purpose of this project is to not only give recognition to our hard working athletes but give motivation for our current and future athletes. One problem that we have slightly faced is trying to locate pictures of the past inductees. Our plan is to get the Hall of Fame up to date and visible for not only athletes but students as well. Once the physical display is done, we hope to virtualize it so it's open to the public.
