Ortho-prints is a project that involves 3D printing models of the human body for an orthopedic doctor. Every year people break their wrist between 150,000 to 250,000 times in a year. After planning a zoom call with our community partner, Dr.Greer, we discussed what our design would look like. One we decided the design we learned that Sulphur Rock

Elementary was also working on this project. We then asked them if they would work with us to make the design. We used Bambu 3d Printer and studios to assist in printing the design. Then, Dr. Greer told us that he would like us to create the model for a before and after photo so he can show patients what the injury looks like now and what it will look like when they are done healing. Our goal for this project is to provide patients with models of their current injury and what it will look like when they are fully healed. This project involves us using teamwork and collaboration even though we're at two separate campuses. We strive to be advanced and solve a real issue given to us by an orthopedic doctor to help our community.
