The Designer will design and execute visual and creative assets for digital and print projects including websites, marketing campaigns, events, social media, and other print communications. The Designer will monitor trends and feedback to develop recommendations for how to improve our existing marketing efforts and websites. This position demands creative flair, up-to-date knowledge of industry software and a professional approach to time, costs, and deadlines.

Fundraising/Development Intern

EAST is seeking an unpaid intern to help the organization continue to build its development efforts. The intern's primary focus will be on identifying grant opportunities, writing at least one grant proposal, and assisting in the development of a year-long marketing program for potential funders/partners.

All applicants will be considered for this position. Ideal candidates are a junior or senior at a four year institution and an EAST alumn. Ideal candidates will have some skills in: writing, research, grant writing/administration, and ability to work independently.

Some majors that might be interested include: Communications, Public Relations, English, Marketing, or anyone interested in pursuing work in the nonprofit sector after graduation. Anticipated internship dates January 10, 2017 to May 12,2017 with an option to renew the internship for the Summer and Fall semesters if both parties agree. Anticipated hours per week 15.
