Reality Capture Workshop

Do you wish that you could create accurate digital 3d models of real buildings, landscapes, or objects to use in 3d GIS, virtual tours, or even 3d printing? Using photogrammetry, it is now easy to digitally capture reality. We will teach you proper data capture techniques with your camera, and then work with several different software packages to create dense 3d point clouds and meshes, scale them, and finally learn some basic modeling techniques.  

Items to Bring: Bring your best still camera(s), with fixed-focus (non-zoom) lenses if you have them, as well as a camera tripod.
