Sarah and Emma Bailin of Little Rock win youth award in Mississippi film festival.

Jackson, Mississippi— The winners of the 2010 Crossroads Film Festival, held April 16-18, have been announced. One of two Youth Filmmaking awards went to "A Soldier in Skirts," directed and produced by Sarah Bailin and Emma Bailin of Little Rock, Arkansas.
This documentary explores the experience of the Women's Army Corps through the eyes of Ruth Blanton, a Bald Knob, Arkansas woman who went overseas as a stenographer during World War II, a time when most men believed that a woman's patriotic duty was taking care of hearth and home.
