EAST Alum and career IT professional join staff.

The EAST Initiative welcomes its two newest staff members, who both join the Technical Support Group:

Aaron David is a EAST Alumni and graduate of eStem High Public Charter School. He is currently attending the University of Arkansas at Little Rock pursuing a degree in Computer Science with plans to specialize in network security. Aaron, who notes his father influenced his interest in computers as a database administrator, credits EAST with exposing him to new programs and presenting a different kind of challenge in education: not being “graded by how well I am doing, but how much effort I put into learning.” Aaron lives in Cabot and likes to play soccer.

Shari Ollison is an IT professional with a background in computer support and administration. She graduated from the University of Arkansas with a bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems. In the last 10 years, Shari has spent the majority of her career in state government, though she took a break from the public sector to work for the corporate world, joining Hewlett-Packard in 2010. Since then, Shari has spent the majority of her time caring for the needs of her son, Jaxon. She is also married to her wonderful husband Timothy of 10 years! Shari enjoys community work in her spare time.
