Graphic design skills and technology used to educate classmates about drinking and driving.

To correlate with their Stop Drinking and Driving brochure, Wynne High School EAST students Sammie S. and Ally B. designed a wall of photos that displays 15 alcohol-related automobile crashes. The number 15 was chosen because the statistics show that every 15 minutes, a person is killed in an alcohol-related car crash.

The posters were numbered 1 through 15, and each included a statistic coordinating with the number on the poster. The girls researched and worked with local police officers and the state police to gather statistics and photos, using as much local information as possible.

The photo layouts were printed at poster size and placed in the hallway near the EAST classroom in numerical order. These posters have really attracted a lot of attention from students. The unveiling was timed in relationship to the date of the Jr. and Sr. Prom, with the hope that these revealing photos and statistics would help students to make the right decision about drinking and driving.
