Jacksonville Middle School EAST Night Out
8/14/2013 4:48:26 PM

EAST students join others from area schools for joint event at McCain Mall.

The event was held on Tuesday, November 9, 2010 from 6:00 until 7:30 p.m. at McCain Mall in North Little Rock. It was an outstanding event for the schools involved, the community, students, parents and administrators.

About 50 people attended the event. The public was impressed by what the students are currently doing in class and how they are making a difference in their community with the use of new technology.

Upon arriving, guests were asked by student greeters to sign in and to view the project booths. Guests then visited the booths and talked with students about their projects and the technologies being used. Presentations were given by individual EAST students, and students also answered questions about their projects.

Pamphlets were given out to the guests, describing the different schools and projects.

To prepare for the event, students created project display boards and posters.
