Dardanelle Middle School Veterans Day Assembly provide an avenue to promote the USO.

DHS EAST students Chace and Erik created their introduction video about the USO and shared their video during the recent DMS Veterans Day Assembly. The students developed an introduction about the many aspects of the USO in the support they provide for our military personnel at home and overseas.  The video was created using Adobe Premiere.  Additionally, Megan and Ashley created business cards reflecting information to contact the USO, which were handed out during the assembly.

And in recognition of their efforts, the following note was received:

To Chase and Erik, DHS EAST students:

Just wanted to say thank you for participating in the DMS Veterans’ Day assembly.   The USO presentation was informative and very well-done, as always.  We appreciate your support and partnership.  Thanks again. Avis Cotton, Dardanelle Middle School Principal

Chace and Erik are developing an extended video to include more historical aspects and interviews from Dardanelle VFW veterans who served during World War II, the Korean Conflict, Vietnam, and Iraq Freedom to tell the historical aspects of the USO program. They have been asked to present this video documentary to the Dardanelle Rotary Club in December.
