We were given the task of putting together (from scratch) the Orientation for incoming sixth grade students. We generated a list of pictures we wanted to take for the slide show, took the pictures, edited them and added text to them and incorporated them. We put the whole thing to music and will have a student do the presentation. Also, we will have EAST students take the incoming students for a tour of the Middle school.
This gives them opportunities to show organization, speaking skills, photography and editing with presentation.
