Ambassador Team

Ambassador Team Leader

Hello Everyone! My name is Lindsey, and I'm from Harrisburg High School in Harrisburg, Arkansas. I'm so excited to be the 2009 EAST Conference Ambassador Team Leader again! I'm 17 (18 in October!), a senior and I enjoy cheerleading and watching football games. I'm a co-editor of my school's yearbook and president of the National Honor Society. I really enjoy working with children and I have an after school job watching kids at the local daycare. I also like participating in EAST and helping the community deal with problems and tasks that they need help with!

At last years conference, the Ambassador team worked diligently with the EAST staff to make sure various tasks moved swiftly, to help all the vendors with their personal needs, and the students with directions. Throughout the conference, we worked behind the scenes and helped with the opening session, the banquet and the team put together a brand new closing session where schools won prizes and we had a lot of fun! The Ambassador team became very close over the duration of conference by sharing information and ideas and we were all able to take home new friends and friendships that we will all cherish forever! I really want an exciting group of leaders this year to work with, so come on and sign up! ---Lindsey
