This class is used to track those students that have completed the Virtual Campus Course Learning ArcGIS Desktop from ESRI. (
Link) You cannot sign up for this training as you would other training sessions. This training module requires an ESRI account (free) and a code (also free) to unlock modules 2-8 (the first module is free). Email TSG (
tsg@eaststaff.org) to get the code to unlock the course. This course will count as having attended a trainer-led, hands-on Intro to GIS course. This counts towards meeting EAST Assurances (requiring two tech trainings per year) and counting as the pre-requisite to attend advanced GIS training (Why of Where series). Once completed (no partial credit), please email the student's email address and username used on the ESRI website to validate completion of the course to Phaedra or Jerry (
phaedra@eaststaff.org jerry@eaststaff.org). Once validated, we will manually add students to this course for tracking and record keeping.
Review: get an account, get a code, complete the course, email info for validation, students will be added as completing this class.
No limit on the number of students that can register.
