"What comes to mind when you hear the word Spring?" was the subject of a recently held art fair at the Dardanelle Elementary School. Two DHS EAST students worked with the art teacher from the school to explore the creativity of these students.

The Dardanelle High School EAST Lab recently held the Dardanelle Elementary Art Fair. The assignment was for elementary students to create a piece of artwork based on the theme "What comes to mind when you hear the word SPRING?"

EAST students Taylor and Chloe a provided the idea to art teacher Bradley Smith. Some 600 pieces of student art were displayed in the hallways at the elementary school and were judged accordingly for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place.

Taylor and Chloe are extremely thankful for the participation in the competition. "I am extremely proud of the level of creativity that the students displayed." stated Taylor.

Winners were Ezekiel, Marlom, and Brooke representing the 3rd grade; Jayce, Garrett, and Tabitha representing the 4th grade; Ashley, Ashley, and Madeline representing the 5th grade; Deanna, Kristen and Taylor representing the 6th grade.
