EAST students from Harrisburg Middle School presented at the Leadership 3.0 Conference held annually in collaboration with Association of California School Administrators (ACSA), Computer Using Educators, Inc. (CUE), and TICAL.  It is truly for administrators, by administrators and brings together educational leaders working at the nexus of Leadership, Technology and Innovation.    The Harrisburg EAST program was invited to the conference to present on overview of their program and projects.  The breakout session highlighted past, present and future projects from Harrisburg School District.  The session included GIS projects, such as, Water Conservation, Tornado Sirens, and School Millage Studies.  Along with GIS,  virtual reality projects, which included, Elementary Virtual Library, Delta Museum Tour and Downtown Revitalization were discussed.  It reflected an overview of our EAST program and how project based learning has impacted the school district as well as our local community.  Students who attended were M. Parker, K. Mitchell and K. Harlson and Trent Saracini, Facilitator.  It was a great opportunity for our Arkansas EAST students to present and share ideas at an out of state conference.
