Sandy Williams, Dardanelle High School EAST Facilitator, was presented the Army National Guard Patriot Award at a recent luncheon.  The award is given to select educators in recognition for their support of current and future soldiers of the Army National Guard.  The award consists of a framed American flag patch, the same patch worn on the U. S. Army combat uniform.  An engraved description is mounted below the flag patch, which describes the award and explains why the flag is worn reversed.  Congratulations to Ms. Williams, who has always supported members of the military, which include her own son, Army Staff Sergeant Quinton Tucker.
