Brinkley High School EAST Lab Receives Grant from Stamp Out Smoking

Brinkley High School EAST Lab will be reaching out to our community with efforts to inform individuals of the long term effects of tobacco use. With a $1000 grant from the Stamp Out Smoking Service Learning Community Lifesavers

Tobacco use is a common occurrence in pre-teens, teenagers, and adults not only in our community but all around the world. Brinkley High School EAST Lab will be reaching out to our community with efforts to inform individuals of the long term effects of tobacco use. With a $1000 grant from the Stamp Out Smoking Service Learning Community Lifesavers, students will be conducting a campaign to tackle tobacco and make our community a healthier more pleasant environment. Students will me making displays, taping radio spots, performing skits for younger children, and passing out helpful brochures. The Tackle Tobacco team, pictured above, Wesley Chunn, Halee Jones, Courtney Hunt, Jill Carroll, Antanique Watson, and Larry Walker, is prepared and ready to tackle tobacco!
