Students from EAST programs in Hawaii and Arkansas presented the GIS aspects of their service projects to an audience of 13,000 at the 2007 ESRI International User Conference in June.

Students from EAST programs in Hawaii and Arkansas presented the GIS aspects of their service projects to an audience of 13,000 at the 2007 ESRI International User Conference in June. Shanoa Miller from King Kekaulike High School EAST in Pukalani, HI, and Martin Davis and Zak Kendrick from Beebe Middle School EAST in McRae, AR demonstrated EAST's student-driven methods along with ESRI President Jack Dangermond and ESRI Education Program Manager Charlie Fitzpatrick.
