The University of Arkansas at Little Rock’s EAST program is happy to announce the EAST Scholar Recipients for the 2015-2016 year.

The University of Arkansas at Little Rock’s EAST program is happy to announce the EAST Scholar Recipients for the 2015-2016 year. The UALR EAST Scholarship amounts to $10,000 per academic year, totaling $40,000 over 4 years. To be considered for this prestigious award, students must submit a 250 word essay, 2 letters of recommendation (1 from their EAST Facilitator), have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0, and have been in EAST for at least 1 year. EAST Scholars are required to complete service projects throughout the year that benefit UALR and the community. The UALR EAST Lab is located in Dickinson Hall and is a part of the College of Education and Health Professions.  The 2015-2016 UALR EAST scholars are:

Jonah Rudkin- eStem Charter High School, Little Rock, AR

Christopher Stephens- Hot Springs High School, Hot Springs, AR

David Plate- Maumelle High School, Maumelle, AR

Terion Clark- Camden Fairview High School, Camden, AR

Skyler Streeter- Hamburg High School, Hamburg, AR

Brittany Newman- Lakeside High School, Hot Springs, AR

Kaylyn Gonzalez- Horatio High School, Horatio, AR

Lauren Goodwin- Lakeside High School, Hot Springs, AR

Ashley Hidalgo- Har-Ber High School, Springdale, AR
