EAST® Initiative is proud to be a participant with the National Environmental Education Foundation to teach students about the impact they can have on the environment.

EAST® is a Green STEM Innovator EE Week 2012Since its inception in 2005, EE Week has reached millions of students and educators across the United States with non-biased, high-quality, environmental education materials grounded in accurate, timely scientific information and tied to local, state and national learning standards.

National Environmental Education Week (EE Week), the nation's largest environmental education event held each year the week before Earth Day, inspires environmental learning and stewardship among K-12 students. EE Week connects educators with environmental resources to promote K-12 students’ understanding of the environment. EE Week is a program of the National Environmental Education Foundation.

EAST® Initiative is proud to be a participant of this important week of Environmental Education and will be spending this week showing how EAST® has made a difference for the planet with the important work our students and facilitators do.

Today - We want to share an info-graphic that NEEF created that shows the impact that students of STEM learning have on the Environment. Tell us what you think on Facebook or Twitter!
