On May 16th, over one hundred Nettleton School District staff members and students participated in the National Level Exercise 11 earthquake drill.  This multi-state exercise was the largest ever conducted in the United States.  The Fox Meadow Elementary building site collapse simulation was one of the key components in this activity.  The feedback from the federal, state and local emergency planning agencies was overwhelmingly positive.  We have been complimented on our facilities, enthusiastic staff and most importantly on the high caliber of our students who served as "play victims" and communication runners.  EAST students from the junior high and high school served as runners, photographers, videographers, and victims.  Video footage will be used to create safety videos for elementary school students.  Footage will also be shared with the school’s crisis team.
