Bismarck High School EAST students learn new technology, use it to showcase their school.

Bismarck High School recently added a virtual reality tour to its website. The tour provides an opportunity for visitors to the site to see Arkansas’s first green high school from inside and out.

EAST (Environmental and Spatial Technology) students Dylan and Katie attended training in the fall to learn how to create the tour using the Virtual Reality Development Lab software and equipment. Scott Joachim with Digital Tech Frontier, LLC (wecantakeyouthere.com) led the instruction. The team then returned to the school to develop the tour. At school, Katie, Joey, and Justin worked together to create the final product.

The tour may be accessed at http://www.bismarcklions.net/highschool/ Click on Virtual Tour in the menu at left. By clicking on the blue dots, viewers may move from one location to another. The site offers a 360 degree tour of the school.
