In cooperation with the Arkansas Department of Education, the EAST Initiative is pleased to be able to offer the EAST Upgrade Grant Program to eligible Arkansas schools. This grant is a non-competitive matching grant up to $10,000, including the matching funds. It leverages our collective support in partnership with matching local funds to ensure the technological capacity of local EAST programs. While programs are expected to plan and maintain their up-to-date technological capacity, we recognize the need to help supplement these efforts when funding is available.
The following schools have been awarded the EAST Upgrade Grant for 2014-15:
Batesville Junior High School
Drew Central High School
Greenland High School
Greenland Middle School
Har-Ber High School
Harrisburg Middle School
Huntsville High School
Jacksonville Middle School
Jonesboro High School
MacArthur Junior High School
Magnolia High School
Magnolia Junior High School
Maumelle Middle School
Nashville High School
Ozark Middle School
Pottsville High School
Pottsville Junior High School
Roberts Elementary School
Van Buren High School
Schools that were eligible for 2014-15 but not funded will be eligible again in 2015-16, provided all grant requirements are met at that time.
