Advanced Geospatial Support Workshop
Is your EAST class working on a geospatial project that requires advanced training? Something that isn’t offered in the Why of Where workshops?
Now you can apply for a custom one-day workshop led by the geospatial professionals at the Center for Advanced Spatial Technologies (CAST).
The workshop will be specifically geared to your needs and held at your school; in fact, it is a wonderful way to move to the next level, beyond the Why of Where workshops.
We encourage all applicants to submit your application early, as there are only eight (8) workshops available for the 2015-2016 school year.
If you have any questions about whether or not your project would qualify, please contact your EAST support team at CAST for more information.
Accepting applications immediately, until all workshops have been filled.
Laser Scanning for Reality Capture
NOTE: This workshop is only available to schools who have attended the Reality Capture workshop.
EAST and CAST have decided to make CAST’s high-end laser scanning equipment and expertise available to just two (2) carefully selected EAST schools this year.
If your EAST program is working on a reality capture project that needs more than photogrammetry to be successful, please consider applying for one of these one-day workshops.
When you fill out the application, keep in mind that you must explain in the application why laser scanning is a more appropriate technology than photogrammetry for your project.
If you have questions about whether or not your project would qualify, please contact your EAST support team at CAST for more information. CAST experts will evaluate your
application and award the two sessions after both of this year’s Reality Capture workshops have finished (no earlier than Nov. 4, 2015).
You cannot submit an application until you have attended and completed one of the Reality Capture workshops.
Accepting application after the first Reality Capture workshop has finished (Oct. 7, 2015).
