Upcoming ELMA Training

The EAST Logistics, Management, and Administrative (ELMA) workshop is designed to help strengthen EAST at the school site. Specific topics are presented pertaining to existing and planned aspects of the program and by preparing and assisting all levels of district and building staff to support the local EAST program.

Workshop attendance is required by new EAST programs, Arkansas upgrade recipients, and new building administrators or counselors. At no time are facilitators and/or students eligible to fulfill a school’s obligation to attend ELMA.

• Cross-curricular pathways using the EAST technology to achieve meaningful community service

• Student selection, placement, and overall scheduling

• Logistical issues related to travel, conference participation, and periodic upgrades
• Best practices for the EAST environment

There is no cost to attend this workshop. Lunch is on your own. Three hours of technology professional development will be given to participants. Workshop hours are 9:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M.
